The External Affairs Ministry has responded after NATO chief Mark Rutte threatened India with secondary sanctions over trade with Russia. The ministry's spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "Let me reiterate that securing the energy needs of our people is understandably an overriding priority for us...We would particularly caution against any double standards on the matter."
