India and Russia have launched negotiations for manufacturing an advanced version of the BrahMos missile, The Economic Times reported. Russia has extended full technical support for jointly producing the new version of the missile in India, the report added. India used the BrahMos missile in its operation against Pakistan after the Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 people.
