India has cleared key development projects worth over ₹1,500 crore, focused on high-risk border zones. These include substantial upgrades to fencing, road connectivity, surveillance, and essential utilities in vulnerable stretches of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Under this initiative, more than 500 km of existing border fencing will be replaced.
