Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated India's first manufacturing plant for tempered glass in Noida on Saturday, with an investment of ₹870 crore. He said that Optiemus Infracom's facility will produce 2.5 crore units domestically, reducing import reliance and strengthening India's growing electronics ecosystem. Optiemus has already invested ₹70 crore in the first phase of the plant.
