The number of active COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 7,400, with 269 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to Health Ministry data released on Saturday. Nine more COVID-19-related deaths were recorded during this period, taking the total number of deaths reported this year to 87. Kerala remains the worst-affected state, with 2,109 active COVID-19 cases.
