Union Transport minister Nitin Gadkari has said that annual EV sales in India will touch the 1 crore mark by 2030. Gadkari also said that the boom in EV sales will create 5 crore jobs in the country by the end of this decade. He added that the homegrown EV market will become an ₹20 lakh crore opportunity by 2030.
