The number of deals in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) space rose threefold in financial year 2025, a report said on Wednesday. Equirus Capital said the year recorded 30 deals versus 10 in 2024, with banks and NBFCs driving M&A and strategic transactions worth ₹42,939 crore.
