India's broadband subscribers rose from 1059.05 million in February 2026 to 1065.88 million in March 2026, the government said. Mobile number portability requests stood at 14.63 million, showing strong competition among telecom operators. Wireless active users reached 1185.60 million, while wireline connections grew 0.53% to 48.25 million.
