India’s CAD to stay in comfort zone despite export pressures

India's current account deficit is expected to remain in a comfort zone, aided by falling crude prices, a surplus in services exports and steady remittances, Crisil said. Despite pressure on goods exports, CAD is seen averaging 1 per cent of GDP in FY26, supporting external stability amid global uncertainty and easing the import bill while containing external risks overall outlook.
