The cheetah population in India currently stands at 26, including 14 India-born cubs from females like Jwala and Asha. Sixteen cheetahs are freely roaming in Kuno National Park, monitored by a 24-hour satellite tracking system. Their presence has also boosted tourism in park, with visitor numbers doubling in the last two years, indicating a positive impact on the local economy.
