India recorded about $340 billion in crypto asset inflows between June 2024 and June 2025, according to the OECD's Asia Capital Markets Report 2026. The amount was equivalent to nearly 9% of India's GDP and the highest among major Asian economies in absolute terms. Meanwhile, a parliamentary finance panel will meet the RBI on July 2 to discuss crypto regulations.
