NECTAR, under the DST, unveiled India’s first aerostatic drone, developed by Airbotix Technologies. The drone can stay airborne for over 4 hours, offers silent, energy-efficient surveillance, and is ideal for border security, wildlife tracking, and disaster response. Equipped with thermal imaging and day-night vision, it drew strong interest from CRPF and civil agencies.
