The ePlane Company has successfully tested its electric air taxi prototype, marking a major step for India's urban air mobility ambitions. Developed at IIT Madras, the aircraft can carry a pilot and two passengers, travel up to 100 km on a single charge and is designed for city transport. Backed by $20 million in funding, ePlane aims to launch the service by 2028.
