India's forex reserves climb $1.08 billion to $676.24 billion

India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $1.08 billion to $676.237 billion in the week ended July 17, RBI data showed. The gain followed a $964 million rise in the previous week. Higher foreign currency assets offset a decline in gold reserves, with FCAs rising $4.55 billion while gold holdings fell $3.48 billion.
