India's Garam Masala secured second place behind Merquén from Chile's Araucanía in TasteAtlas' top 10 best spice blend list. The third spot was secured by Za'atar from Lebanon, followed by Jamaica's Jerk Seasoning and Japan's Shichimi Togarashi in fourth and fifth places. As per TasteAtlas, Garam Masala "is sometimes described as an aromatic blend that's meant to heat the body".
