India's lab-grown diamond market to expand by 50 times: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said India's lab-grown diamond market could become a global leader as the market's growth presents a "huge opportunity". "In terms of volume, the market for lab-grown diamonds is poised to expand to nearly 50 times the size of the current diamond market," he added. Shah further said lab-grown diamonds' ecosystem should remain in India's hands.
