TCS Chairman N Chandrasekaran announced that India's largest IT services company will no longer hire en masse as it did in the past, as AI starts taking over roles currently being performed by humans. Chandrasekaran said TCS expects AI agents to increasingly work alongside humans, saying the shift may affect the entire industry. He clarified that TCS isn't planning layoffs.
