COVID-19 caused significant learning loss for nearly 200 million children in India, affecting foundational literacy and numeracy. To bridge these gaps, the Azim Premji Foundation partnered with state governments to implement targeted interventions, group students by learning levels, and empower teachers with training and resources. These measures aim to restore learning continuity post-pandemic.
