Private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) investments in India jumped 9% YoY, reaching $5.3 billion in October, according to Ernst & Young-IVCA's latest report. Pure-play PE/VC investments also surged by 81% YoY, hitting a 13-month high of $5 billion in October. During the same period, real estate and infrastructure investments fell significantly by 86%.
