India's 24-year-old Grandmaster R Vaishali on Monday created history by becoming the first chess player to win back-to-back Women's Grand Swiss chess tournaments. She accumulated eight out of 11 possible points and had a superior tiebreak score to clinch Women's Grand Swiss 2025 title. With the win, she secured her spot in the Women's Candidates 2026.
