Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI), a think tank, said the Indian economy and security are deeply reliant on US software, cloud services, and social media platforms, which pose a major vulnerability during geopolitical tensions. GTRI Co-founder Ajay Srivastava stated Indian government must launch a 'Digital Swaraj Mission' with a sovereign cloud and indigenous OS to address these concerns.
