India's software services export rise 45% in 4 years: Report

India's outsourcing industry is moving towards higher-value technology and business services as AI automates repetitive work. Software services exports now equal around 5.2% of GDP, while business services account for 3.3%. Demand is shifting towards analytics, software development, engineering, risk management and R&D, even as traditional IT hiring slows.
