India's merchandise trade deficit narrowed to a three-month low of $21.9 billion in December, the latest data from the Commerce Ministry showed. Merchandise exports fell roughly 1% YoY to $38 billion, while merchandise imports rose 4.9% YoY to $59.95 billion in the month. India's total exports, including services, rose to $70.7 billion in December.
