India has reported 2,55,874 new COVID-19 cases and 614 deaths in the last 24 hours. This comes a day after the country saw 3,06,064 cases and 439 deaths. The daily positivity rate dropped from 20.75% to 15.52%. India's active caseload also saw a slight dip at 22,36,842, while the death toll in the country reached 4,90,462.
