There was no new unicorn in India in the first half of 2023 as funding in Indian startups fell to just $5.48 billion in the January to June period, according to market intelligence firm Tracxn. Indian startups had raised $19.5 billion during the same period last year. In business, a unicorn is a startup valued at $1 billion or more.
