India saw a record 200 billionaires this year with $954 billion combined wealth, as per Forbes World's Billionaires List 2024. Reliance Industries' Mukesh Ambani has held the ninth spot, followed by Adani Group's Gautam Adani, HCL Founder Shiv Nadar, JSW Steel's Savitri Jindal, Sun Pharmaceuticals' Dilip Shanghvi, SII's Cyrus Poonawalla, DLF's Kushal Pal Singh and Aditya Birla Group's Kumar Birla.
