Indian central agencies shared intelligence on gangsters operating in US and other countries and their suspected hideouts with US, IE reported. The meetings reportedly intensified in weeks before US' 'Operation Hard Ball', under which 37 people linked to organised crime groups, including Lawrence Bishnoi, were charged. Cooperation improved after US deported gangster Anmol Bishnoi in November 2025.
