The Ministry of Defence has signed a ₹449 crore contract to procure 20 ECGNSS jammers for the Indian Navy. These advanced electronic warfare systems can disrupt and spoof enemy satellite navigation signals, making adversary platforms lose or misread their location. The indigenous systems are expected to enhance the Navy's operational capabilities in complex maritime environments.
