India and the UAE signed their first-ever bilateral free trade agreement on Friday. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is expected to raise the total trade up to $100 billion in the next 5-years and will cut import duties on various products while boosting the export of jewellery and apparel. Notably, UAE is India's third-largest trading partner.
