India squad for the five-match T20I series against England has been announced. Mohammad Shami, who last played an international match in November 2023, has been included in the squad after recovering from injuries. The Suryakumar Yadav-led squad also features Nitish Reddy, Harshit Rana, Dhruv Jurel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi and Varun Chakaravarthy. Axar Patel has been named vice-captain.
