India startup funding falls 44% from previous week to ₹1,800 crore

Indian startups raised $186 million (nearly ₹1,800 crore) during the week of July 17-23, down 44% from $334 million raised the previous week, over a dip in late-stage funding. The week's largest deal came from Veriqus Group, which raised $40.1 million. It was followed by banking software startup BusinessNext and Hyderabad-based Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group, which raised $40 million each.
