India has completely stopped the flow of water from the Ravi river to Pakistan with the completion of the Shahpur Kandi barrage, reports said. Instead of flowing into Pakistan, the 1,150 cusecs of Ravi water will now be directed towards irrigation in Jammu and Kashmir. The Shahpur Kandi barrage is situated on the border of J&K and Punjab.
