India has successfully extradited gangster Abhay Rana, who is charged with several serious offences, from Portugal. Rana will now be subject to trial in the Indian courts. The extradition was carried out under the bilateral extradition agreement between the India and Portugal, following the issuance of an Interpol Red Notice, Embassy of India in Lisbon said.
