Bilateral trade between India and Taiwan is expected to touch $12 billion in 2025, according to Taipei Economic and Cultural Center's Economic director, Yu-Chi Chen. Trade already hit a record $10.6 billion in 2024, with over 250 Taiwanese firms investing in India. Taiwan is pushing for an FTA with India to cut tariffs and boost competitiveness.
