Department of Electronics and IT (DeitY) Secretary JS Deepak on Monday said India’s policy for Internet of Things (IoT) is aimed at acquiring a 5-6% share of what is expected to be a $300 billion industry globally by 2020. Deepak added that a roadmap for development of machine-to-machine (M2M) communication has been issued to boost the IoT industry in India.
