Global airlines body IATA has projected that India will be the third-largest aviation market by 2026. IATA expects India's air traffic to grow to 44.2 crore by 2035 with 32.2 crore new travellers, amid the domestic market growing by more than 20% for over a year now. China and the US will be the top two fastest-growing markets.
