India is set to remain one of the fastest-growing major economies in 2026, with GDP growth forecast at 6.6 per cent despite moderation. Strong policy support, digitalisation and favourable demographics underpin resilience, even as inflation rises and global headwinds persist, according to the Mastercard Economics Institute.
