SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son said India can emerge as the "new Silicon Valley" due to its chip design capabilities, Economic Times quoted a person who met Son during his visit to India. Son said this depends on whether India can move away from its software service-focussed workforce, the person added. Son reportedly met PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
