India to challenge long jumper Shaili Singh's result at Asian Games after hair cuts jump distance

The Athletics Federation of India will challenge Shaili Singh's Asian Games jump result after officials reportedly measured an attempt from a mark made by her hair touching the sand. AFI vice-president Anju Bobby George alleged the jump was measured incorrectly. Shaili finished fourth with 6.42 metres, missing bronze by four centimetres, while the disputed attempt was recorded at 6.41 metres.
