India to get 100 new airports in next 10 years

India will get 100 new airports over the next 10 years under the UDAN scheme, Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu said. "While there were 74 airports in 2014, today we can proudly say that India's map features 166 airports," Naidu stated. He said a new airport or a new terminal was built every 40 days in the last 12 years.
