India to get 1st runway on sea bridge at Lakshadweep airport

India is set to get its first sea bridge runway after the approval to extend the Agatti Airport in Lakshadweep has been given to Airports Authority of India. A Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) platform will be built on the beach and shallow area which will allow bigger ATR aircraft to operate on the island, reports said.
