India will send five more consignments of aid to Sri Lanka till May amid a severe economic crisis, Gopal Baglay, the Indian High Commissioner to the South Asian country, announced. Four consignments totaling over 1,50,000 tonnes of jet fuel, diesel and petrol have been delivered by India since March, he said. Currently, Sri Lanka has imposed a curfew.
