India and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries are finalising the terms for a free trade agreement and will start negotiations on it next month, an official told PTI. Notably, GCC is a group of Gulf nations which includes Qatar, Oman and Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE. Bilateral trade between the two regions increased to $154.73 billion in 2021-22.
