India has emerged as the leading country in global digital payments ranking with 89.5 million transactions in 2022, as per data by MyGovIndia. Brazil ranked second with 29.2 million transactions, followed by China, Thailand and South Korea. India's digital payments volume was more than the combined transactions of the other four leading countries, data showed.
