India and the US have signed a defence deal on Monday agreeing to use each other's land, air and naval bases for repair and resupply. The agreement will reportedly make joint operations "easier" and more "efficient". This comes after US military stated that it wants to increase cooperation with India similar to its closest allies, especially to counter China.
