India will establish own space station by 2035: ISRO chairman

India will establish its own space station, the Bharatiya Antariksha Station, ISRO Chairman Dr V Narayanan said at the 3rd National Space Day celebration in Ahmedabad. "The first module has already been approved, and we aim to establish the space station by 2035," he added. Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat said private participation has created new opportunities for India's space industry.
