India won bronze in the 24th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament, after defeating South Korea 4-1 (6-3) on penalties, Sunday. Akashdeep Singh, Sardar Singh, Rupinderpal Singh and Birender Lakra netted in the shoot-out, while Nikkin Thimmaiah and Satbir Singh scored one each during the regulation period. New Zealand won the tournament after beating Australia 3-1 (penalties).
