India win historic 2nd straight Asian Games men's hockey gold, thrash Malaysia 5-1

India thrashed Malaysia 5-1 in the final to win a second straight Asian Games men's hockey gold and secure an LA Olympics 2028 berth. It is India's fifth Asian Games men's hockey title after victories in 1966, 1998, 2014 and 2022. It also marked the first time India won both men's and women's hockey titles at a single Asian Games.
