Weightlifter Gyaneshwari Yadav clinched silver in the women's 53kg event at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026 in Glasgow, taking India's tally to five medals. She lifted a total of 199 kg, with 88 kg in snatch and 111 kg in clean and jerk. Nigeria's Didih Onome Omolola bagged gold with a CWG-record lift of 206 kg.
