India is exploring ways to increase purchases from the US after President Donald Trump announced 25% tariff on Indian goods, Bloomberg reported. However, no defence purchases are being planned. The report added India has told the US it is not keen to purchase F-35 jets. Officials told the portal the Indian government is more interested in jointly manufacturing defence equipment.
